About Me
Hi, let me introduce myself. I’m Pat Bonino and I own Pet Dog Training by Pat. I have been training dogs since 1995 and have been showing my own dogs in American Kennel Club and Canadian Kennel Club trials since 1997. I live in a suburb of Rochester, NY with my very patient husband and four German Shepherds. I show Drux in AKC obedience, Ingo is doing sheepherding, and Viska is a certified Therapy Dog visting hospitals and hospices! My puppy, Heike, is a work in progress but will be a sheep herding and do AKC obedience.
I attend several dog training seminars each year to hone my skills and learn new techniques.
I am a Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluator for the American Kennel Club and offer training for you and your dog to get a CGC and offer the AKC S.T.A.R. puppy classes.
I know and use a variety of training methods - depending on what your dog needs.
I take the time to understand what your dog likes and use that so your dog learns with motivation and enthusiasm.
My years as a manager and team builder have taught me to be successful with the person at "the other end of the leash" as well!
